Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) 

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) focuses on improving the NHS for patients.

Our aim is to:

  • advise and support patients, their families and carers
  • provide information on NHS services
  • listen to your concerns or suggestions and help sort out problems quickly on your behalf
  • help you when you need advice, have concerns, or don’t know where to turn

The PALS service is accessible to patients, their carers, friends and family. The PALS service treats every enquiry with the same level of importance and the same level of confidentiality

In addition NHS England is setting up a customer contact centre. They will be dealing with calls from patients and the public about issues relating to primary care, for example calls about GP practices or registering with a dentist. For more information, you can:
