There's lots you can do to manage your own health and wellbeing so you can make sure you stay as fit and well as possible.
There are lots of benefits to learning how to manage your own health and wellbeing, including:
- improving your health - if you know what signs to look for, you can recognise when you might not be feeling at your best and take action quicker,
- greater self-confidence, control and understanding of your ailment or condition,
- less visits to NHS services,
- improved quality of life,
- healthier behaviours,
- save time and money with less travel and less time off work for appointments.
Our lifestyles can be more unhealthy than we think and if you are busy with other things it can sometimes be hard to make time for yourself. The One You campaign is all about helping you get back to a healthier you.
One You can support you to make simple changes towards living a longer and happier life. The One You website provides tools, motivational support and encouragement every step of the way, to help improve your health right away. You are not alone – One You gives you the tools and personalised support to help you make small changes yourself, or with friends and family.
