Patient engagement local improvement scheme
The local improvement scheme for engagement supports our member GP practices in patient engagement. Your GP practice should have a patient participation group (PPG), if you are interested in joining your PPG, it is worth asking your GP practice.
The local improvement scheme helps the PPGs to link together to form networks with other similar community groups to engage actively in developing our commissioning plans. The activity that happens at GP practices supports the strategic objectives of the CCG.
Our CCG supports the practice engagement leads to ensure that they are able to let us know what matters to patients and the public about local healthcare services. The practice engagement leads attend the networks and meet together to share good practice and provide peer support.
